so apparently "I'm trying to grow my hair out because I want long hair. just a little little little bit off the ends"
translates into Bulgarian as,

however, i'm willing to bet i'm a whole lot happier than this guy at the sofia zoo.

happy holidays
so thursday was a holiday here.
which is a huge suprise, i know.
i'd have to say though, that out of the roughly million and ten holidays we have, this was one of my favorites. mainly because it included fireworks and hiking up to a memorial in the hills.
this particual holiday, unlike the vast majority, was not for a person's name.
no, thurday was the 130th anniversary of my town, zlataritsa, being freed from turkish rule.
which seems, to me, a very credible and valid reason to celebrate.
although, who can argue with the celebratory grounds of "congratulations! your name is Ivan!"
a party pooper.
